Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all subscription plans and services offered by TestSpree Technologies Private Limited ("TestSpree"). By subscribing to any of our paid plans, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Subscription Plans

TestSpree offers the following subscription tiers:

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings on the TestSpree platform, or by contacting our support team at support@testspree.com.

3.2 Effect of Cancellation

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
  • You will continue to have access to all paid features until the subscription expires.
  • After expiry, your account will be automatically downgraded to the Free plan.
  • Your data (questions, results, recordings) will be retained for 90 days after downgrade.
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation.

3.3 Downgrade to Free Plan

When your account is downgraded to the Free plan, the following limits will apply:

  • Maximum 50 candidates per month
  • Maximum 5 interview sets
  • Maximum 3 team members
  • 1 GB storage limit
  • Features exclusive to paid plans (custom branding, API access, etc.) will be disabled

4. Refund Policy

4.1 General Policy

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Since TestSpree provides immediate access to digital services upon payment, refunds are generally not provided for partially used billing periods.

4.2 Eligible Refund Scenarios

We may issue a full or partial refund in the following cases:

  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same billing period.
  • Service unavailability: If the platform experienced significant downtime (>48 consecutive hours) during your billing period due to issues on our end.
  • First-time subscribers: If you cancel within 7 days of your first-ever paid subscription and have not used the platform extensively (fewer than 10 assessment sessions), you may request a full refund.
  • Billing errors: If you were charged after cancelling your subscription before the renewal date.

4.3 Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Partial month usage after the 7-day window
  • Failure to cancel before the renewal date
  • Dissatisfaction with features that were clearly described before purchase
  • Account suspension or termination due to policy violations

4.4 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email billing@testspree.com with the following details:

  • Your registered email address
  • Organization name
  • Transaction/payment ID (if available)
  • Reason for the refund request

4.5 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during the transaction.

5. Plan Changes

5.1 Upgrading

You may upgrade your plan at any time. The price difference will be prorated for the remaining days in your current billing period, and you will gain immediate access to the upgraded plan features.

5.2 Downgrading

You may downgrade your plan at any time. The downgrade will take effect at the start of your next billing period. No refund will be issued for the remaining days on the higher plan.

6. Free Trial

The Free plan is available indefinitely with feature limitations. There is no time-limited free trial for paid plans. You can explore the platform on the Free plan before deciding to upgrade.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. We will notify existing subscribers of material changes via email at least 15 days before they take effect.
